The Whisper PRO is a standalone unit you set on a console or shelf. ScentAir rates it at up to 1,000 sq ft and lists it at $350. Its consumer lineup runs alongside the Whisper HOME at $200 and up to 800 sq ft. Neither product page claims an HVAC connection, and ScentAir does not describe the Whisper PRO as a ducted system.

The INFINITY is a different category. It connects to your existing HVAC ductwork, so scent rides your air handler through every vent the system feeds. That is why it is rated to 16,000 sq ft and recommended for homes in the 1,500–6,000+ sq ft range. It is $399 and ships with three premium fragrance oils included.

The practical difference is doors. Cold-air mist from a freestanding diffuser does not pass a closed door. A ducted unit reaches any room with a vent, closed door or not. If your bedrooms are shut during the day, that is the whole decision.

Four things, and they are real.

Wi-Fi and remote control. This is the honest gap in our lineup. The Whisper PRO is Wi-Fi enabled, so you can adjust it from outside the house, and it works with Alexa and Google Assistant. What those coverage numbers actually mean

Both figures — 16,000 and 1,000 — are manufacturer-stated. There is no shared industry testing standard behind them, so they are not strictly comparable, and neither one is a promise about your house.

What actually changes your real coverage: ceiling height, whether doors stay open, how hard your air handler runs, and how open the floor plan is. A 2,000 sq ft home with ten-foot ceilings and closed bedroom doors behaves nothing like a 2,000 sq ft open loft. Treat every published number as a ceiling, not a guarantee, and size up rather than down.

Which one should you buy?

Buy the Whisper PRO if you need Wi-Fi or voice control, you are scenting one large room rather than a house, or you want the widest fragrance menu.

Buy the INFINITY if you want the whole house scented evenly, you have ductwork, closed bedroom doors are part of your life, and you would rather have oil included and open refills than a proprietary cartridge.

Is the Whisper PRO an HVAC diffuser?
Not as ScentAir describes it. Its product page states 1,000 sq ft coverage and makes no HVAC-connection claim. The INFINITY and the PULSE are the ducted units in this comparison.

Can I control the INFINITY from my phone when I am away from home?
No. The INFINITY uses Bluetooth, which works from inside the home only. There is no remote access, no Alexa or Google Home, and no cloud account. The Whisper PRO is the better choice if remote control is a requirement.

Do I have to buy fragrance separately with the INFINITY?
