Do I need ductwork or an HVAC system?
No. The ECHO is completely free-standing. Plug it into a standard outlet and it diffuses straight into the room. If you'd rather scent your whole home through your vents, look at the PULSE or INFINITY.
Will one really cover 1,500 sq ft?
In open space, yes — a main floor with connected living, dining and kitchen is exactly its range. Walls and closed doors will limit it, so for separate bedrooms most people either move it, add an ECHO Mini, or go ducted.
Is there any flame or heat?
None. No wick, no flame, and no hot surfaces — the ECHO runs entirely cold. Like any diffuser holding fragrance oil, keep it upright on a level surface.
How loud is it?
Quiet enough for a bedroom or an office call. You'll notice the fragrance long before you notice the unit.
What fragrance oils does it use?
