INFINITY vs Aroma360 Museum360: $399 vs $1,079.97

Aroma360's Museum360 is listed at $1,079.97 and rated for up to 3,000 sq ft. Our INFINITY is $399, or $449 with three oils, and is recommended for homes of 1,500–6,000 sq ft.

That's a gap large enough to need explaining rather than just asserting. Here's what's actually behind it.

Coverage, and how to read it

Their 3,000 sq ft and our figures are all manufacturer-stated. There's no shared testing standard in this industry, so treat any rating as a signal of what a unit was built for rather than a guarantee.

On that basis: they built a unit for spaces up to 3,000 sq ft. We recommend INFINITY for homes up to 6,000 and rate it to 16,000 on systems up to 10 tons, which is the spec that matters once you're past a large house.

If your home is 2,000 sq ft, both are more than enough and the coverage difference is academic. If it's 4,000, only one of them is sized for it.

What you're paying the extra $680 for

Being fair about this, because it isn't nothing.

Brand and review depth. Aroma360 is one of the best-known names in scenting, with thousands of reviews across their catalogue and years of presence. We're smaller and our review base is much smaller. If buying from an established name matters to you, that's a real consideration and we'd rather say so than talk around it.

Their fragrance library. Considerably deeper than ours, with signature scents people seek out by name. Ours is deliberately small.

Commercial service. Aroma360 runs a large commercial operation with account management and scent design. If you're scenting multiple sites and want that handled, they do it and we don't.

What we'd question is whether those things are worth $680 to someone scenting one house — particularly when the cheaper unit is rated for more area.

Where INFINITY wins

Coverage per dollar. Recommended to 6,000 sq ft against their 3,000, at roughly a third of the price.

Oil included. At $449 you get three 200ml bottles — $135 of fragrance for $50, and the unit works the day it arrives. A diffuser with nothing in it produces nothing at all.

Published noise figure. Under 35 dB. Worth asking for that number from any brand that doesn't publish it, especially for a unit near living space.

Bottled oil, no cartridge. Nothing proprietary, no fixed refill price for the life of the hardware.

No subscription. You buy oil when you want it.

Where we'd send you to them

You want a specific Aroma360 fragrance. If you've smelled one you love, no comparison table should talk you out of it.

You're scenting multiple commercial sites. A managed programme beats self-serve hardware at that scale, and they run one.

Review count is your deciding factor. Theirs is far deeper than ours. That's a legitimate thing to weigh when spending four figures.

If your space is smaller

Both of these are more system than a typical home needs. Under 1,800 sq ft with ducted air, the PULSE does the same job for $149.

No ductwork or renting? The HALO Tower covers up to 4,000 sq ft from a power outlet, from $229 — still a fraction of the Museum360 and with no installation at all.

At either price, one fragrance defines the whole house. The Scent Card Sample Pack is 15 of ours for $15.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Museum360 worth $1,079.97?

It depends what you're buying. For a single home, INFINITY covers more area for roughly a third of the price. For a multi-site commercial programme with account management and a deep fragrance library, Aroma360 offers things we don't.

How much area does INFINITY cover?

Recommended for homes of 1,500–6,000 sq ft, and rated to 16,000 sq ft on HVAC systems up to 10 tons for commercial use.

Do they use the same technology?

Yes — both are waterless cold-air systems that atomise undiluted fragrance oil without heat or water.

Does either include oil?

INFINITY at $449 includes three 200ml bottles. The Museum360 is sold as hardware.

Are the coverage ratings comparable?

Not strictly. Both are manufacturer-stated with no shared testing standard, so ceiling height and floor plan matter as much as the number.

What if it isn't right for my space?

Every diffuser comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
